// MESHDecimation test: 1.47M → 39K triangles
Straight out of Tripo, an armored character is about 1.47 million triangles and 25 MB, too heavy for a browser, let alone a phone. After welding the seams in Blender and decimating with meshopt, the game loads 39,000 triangles at about 1.1 MB: 97.3% fewer.
The green wireframe sweeping across the video is the real topology after decimation. One set from each school: Brokenhorn Watch (STR), Ranger Captain (DEX) and Rotbone Priest (INT), tried on by all four leads with helmets off. Weapons get the same treatment: 650K triangles down to 30K for inspection and 8K in battle.
The models turning in the viewer above are these decimated ones.
